NTT DoCoMo in advanced talks for Tata Teleservices’ $1.5 billion worth stake (Japan)

NTT DoCoMo, Japan’s leading mobile operator is reportedly in advanced talks Tata Teleservices for the purchase of it’s quarter for about $1.5 billion.
Tata Teleservices, India’s second largest operator for CDMA services, has nearly 28 million subscribers and plans to expand into GSM mobile soon.
The sources reveal that the deal could be announced in another two weeks of time. The move towards the deal will give NTT a presence in the ever growing Indian market
