Lanka Bell launches new WiMAX services

Sri Lankan fixed line operator Lanka Bell has launched a new range of wireless broadband internet access services for enterprise and home users, offering connectivity at speeds of between 512kbps and 10Mbps. The telco is offering three tiers of broadband packages: Bell Broadband Home, Bell Broadband Office and Bell Broadband Office Plus. The company says it hopes that the launch will significantly widen broadband availability across the country.
