According to TRAI, Bharti Airtel country’s largest mobile operator, has also earned the largest points of interconnection having congestion followed by Vodafone. This means it’ll be difficult for the subscribers of this networks to communicate with the subscribers of other network. The higher POI shows that the interconnection between two networks is ineffective, which leads to loss of calls and deterioration in the quality of service.

The report states that Reliance Communications, Idea, and Dishnet Wireless follow Vodafone in the queue. TRAI further said that the results indicate that in a number of areas in the country, the degree of congestion between the operators is alarming.
